Our goal is to understand the nature of the horse, its role and its needs in today's world. Our philosophy is to learn equine behaviour and horsemanship from where it begins: the horse.  Learn his language, his mind, his ways.  When he speaks to you do you hear him, or are you talking over him without even knowing it?

Our technique teaches you how to achieve optimal handling results through interpreting the information your horse is communicating. In order to “talk” horses, we must first learn to “read” horses. Although they speak eloquently and fluently, much of that speech is silent. Horses communicate through body language and movement.

Horses In Hawaii™ clinics and lessons are conducted at the “Interactive Horsemanship™” Learning Center which is part of a specialty equestrian ranch located on the Big Island.

Training activities strive to help riders create a fruitful and functional relationship with their equine companions, so that horse and human can interact safely, successfully and happily in whatever venue they choose to pursue.
